Central Region Junior Softball Tournament is moving!

A note from the Central Region Director, John Magers:

We are excited to announce that we have selected Dave Rodgers and Iowa District 4 to be the next host site for the Central Region Junior Softball Tournament! The Regional will be hosted by Mahaska County Little League at Lacey Recreation Complex in Oskaloosa, IA. Please join us in congratulating Dave and his staff on this opportunity!

We would like to thank the many District Administrators who submitted proposals to host this event. Every proposal would have created a great experience, which made this a hard decision. We appreciate those taking the time to submit a proposal for review and consideration. There are certainly great opportunities across the Central Region.

Our office looks forward to working with Dave and his staff to help organize a memorable opportunity for all. We are excited that our players, coaches, families, and fans will experience a state-of-the-art facility at Lacey Recreation Complex, as this initiative focuses on hosting more events at premiere facilities. Dave’s proposal outlined many fun opportunities outside of games, as well as opening ceremonies, Field of Dreams movie night, pizza party, goodie bag giveaways, and much more.

Again, please join us in congratulating Dave and IA-4 as the new host of our Junior Softball Region Tournament! We are excited for Dave, the Oskaloosa community, and most importantly, the players and families in the Central Region that will experience what Dave and his staff plan to offer them during the tournament.
