After over 60 years of serving the Portage Community, due to the continued lack of committed volunteer interest and participation, Portage Little League Baseball’s Board of Directors made the decision to disband Portage Little League in its entirety, effective Thursday February 11.

Although Portage Little League Baseball has ceased operations, the Little League Baseball AND softball experience is still available to the players and families within the Portage Community.

South Haven Little League has absorbed former Portage Little League’s boundaries; former Portage Little League players and families will be serviced going forward by South Haven Little League.  As with any Little League program, South Haven is always looking and open for dedicated, motivated volunteers/personnel to participate in many capacities, including Board membership.  An additional caveat to this absorption is now having all of Portage Township Community’s schools under one League’s boundaries!
