Lake Station Little League over 63 years for their dedication, commitment, drive and desire to sustain a successful Little League program for the citizens, Little League volunteers and players of Lake Station. Character, Courage and Loyalty embody this respected longstanding program.
After discussion with Indiana District One, the contiguous sister leagues had the opportunity to meet February 13 and examine and review options available to re-distribute Lake Station Little League’s former boundaries while providing continued Little League service to Lake Station and its surrounding communities for the 2020 season and beyond.
District One’s goal for the distribution of boundaries was to ensure continuity of Little League play availability to the players and volunteers of Lake Station, New Chicago, and ALL who were previously covered under Lake Station Little League’s former boundaries. This goal has been achieved with Miller Little League and Hobart Little League permanently expanding their respective boundaries to encompass ALL of Lake Station Little League’s former boundaries between them.
The Little League boundary policy for playing in your home league’s boundaries is in place and will be enforced. Very simply, with the new boundaries in place, any player residing in Miller Little League’s boundaries and attending school in Hobart Little League boundaries has the option to play for either league, but not both. Any player residing in Hobart Little League’s boundaries and attending school in Miller Little League boundaries has the option to play for either league, but not both.
